Toronto Raptors Basketball

Boasting Canada's only NBA franchise, the Toronto Raptors have become one of the cities favourite teams. Since obtaining Chris Bosh, the team has become a serious contender in the National Basketball League. The season takes place October through March, plus exciting play-off action in April.


Toronto Blue Jays Baseball

In March of 1976, the Toronto Blue Jays were born. Since then their greatest achievement has been capturing back-to-back World Series titles in 1992 and 1993. Year after year the Jays continue to wow the crowds and provide solid sports entertainment. The season opens April and ends September. Catch a game at Toronto's own, Rogers Centre Stadium.


Toronto Maple Leafs

Founded in 1928, the Toronto Maple Leafs were one of the "Original Six" teams. With 11 Stanley Cup wins, and season after season of intense, hard-hitting hockey, this team has captured the hearts of many in this hockey-crazed town. The action begins October and continues through April, with playoffs starting in May.


Toronto Argonauts

From June to November, get pure football excitement with the Toronto Argonauts and the CFL. As the winners of 45 Grey Cup Championships, witness amazing passing and powerful rushes in this fast-paced game. Home games are played at Rogers Centre Stadium.


Toronto Rock (Lacrosse)

In the short time the Toronto Rock Lacrosse team has existed, it has not only managed to draw impressive crowds, but also won two consecutive National Lacrosse League championships. The Season begins November and ends March with playoffs in April. Home games are played at the Air Canada Centre.


Toronto Lynx Soccer (Football)

As a member of the North American A-League, the Toronto Lynx Soccer Club continues to raise the level of competition in its effort to establish professional soccer in Toronto. The Canadian Component of the A-League in 2004 includes the Vancouver Whitecaps, the Montreal Impact, the Calgary Mustangs and the Edmonton Aviators. The A-League is part of the largest system of Soccer Leagues, the United Soccer Leagues with the League offices in Tampa, Florida. The regular season extends from April to August with play-offs in September.
